Sometimes we all wonder how animals can be so sweet when they've been through so much. Star Babe is no exception. She was found with one of her offspring and a larger dog in a yard chained. Her offspring's chain was so tight it was imbedded in his neck and had to be surgical removed. He's doing well now and was adopted! Thank goodness Star Babe did not have this issue but she seemed to have been chained most of her life. Luckily, volunteers persisted and convinced the owners to surrender all the dogs. Currently Star Babe is living a comfortable life in her new foster home; waiting for her forever family to come get her. It is believed that she is about 5 years old. Because of the lack of care, she did have several teeth removed but she is healing nicely, she is spayed, up to date on her shots and is a picture of health today! It's very hard to resist her sweet little face. Can you?
