Yogi is a gorgeous 5 yr old Akita male who is talkative and has many vocalizations. He is young and energetic, but knows how to control himself and behave, and he needs an owner who will take on the leader role. He would be ready for a good run or hike, and then content to lay at your feet while you watch TV. He knows sit, walks easy on leash and will shake. He tries to do ?sit up and beg? but he is just too big to balance very well. He sits nicely while waiting to have his food put down. Yogi occasionally decides to give hugs, and gently stands and puts his front legs around your waist for an up-close bear hug. He is not a jumper. He is house trained and knows how to use a doggy door. He loves stuffed toys, or an old stuffed sock, and is very entertaining following a laser pointer around. Yogi will need to be the only pet, and his new family should be all adults, no children. This boy has so much love to give. Please consider giving Yogi his fur-ever home!
